Low down dirty dragster Norton antitheses of both a chopper and a road racer that literally tugs on my heart strings

Opps, a Turnip it is. Didn't focus close enough be still tingle at its purpose.
Will move to other m'c area in a bit.

Oh yeah peashooter in back ground but I was so flashed back on minimalist sprinter format I just fogged out on anything else. One of Ms Peel '70's mod outfits will be mimicking the ole P!! My first Combat, the hot rod of a few counties around for some decades was so sluggish to me - on my first Norton Commando Combat I dressed it up like the Harley's, big floppy eared saddle bags with cans of oil and crap inside, large tool pouch under the headlight and huge cushy King/Queen horse saddle seats. Even when the bagger Combat rebuild became Ms Peel in her sports bike spanking prime she was still like 3 seconds slower in 1/4 miles. OH SHIT acceleration ran out in Peel's 2nd gear but P!! didn't come off OH SHIT floating front level thru 9000 kill button WOT shifts till about half way done in 4th. To get much G trill on Ms Peel required far over WOT leans not bee lines, even though Peel could run out from under me in 2nd if not set for it hard 1st she was not a real dragster and too wheelie prone.

Whenever I look at a bike like that, my mind always ends up going someplace like.............
"I wonder how many times those top motor mount bolts have been put on and taken off"?
or
"how many times do you think that rear axle has been pounded in over the years?"

Yep Sir risking a blow up is part of the OH SHIT reaction on pulling a dragster's trigger, again and again. If you have configured a ride to this condition its not for any reasonable logical or safe operation so not for those w/o a good bit of down and dirty devil may dare attitude.

Now that ya mention it - yes the color splashing matching is appealing.

This things front ain't all that lowered so could lean pretty good then just spin the tire to ease the rest of the way around and good luck catching it leaving the apexes. Its rather lightened up and much to my dismay them serious Trunip engine can give Norton twin a run for it.

Don't see anything special on clutch lever or clutch area as not really used but for pits and launch control then just WOT kill tap snicks. Should be geared so next step up don't have to let up d/t tire spin beyond the chirp lurch hook up on slick.
