Hmm, look at it this way. You could either have a beautifully restored Norton Commando Fastback or a new Harley-Davidson.

Hi All
Picked up a 1972 is similar condition for R30,000 which is about PD3000.00 18month ago here in SA But I'm not selling it till 2021 when It will pay for a motorised ZIMMER frame, when I can't ride any longer :D

I've been suprised by the prices lately, but they're still below others out there like Anglophile says, H-D, Ducati etc... I kinda think it's good for business, sort of helps keep them alive.....hard on the pocket book for some of us though. There's still good deals out there to be had. Cash is king as they say.Cj

To quote windy, "the cheapest part on a Norton Commando is the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat!"

I'm not sure the Hi-Rider for $100,000 ever sold? Or did his sister?

The last time I looked, there were no bids on the bike. What a surprise, huh? "Gee honey, I tried to sell it but nobody even bid. I guess I'm just stuck with it!"

debby wrote "Gee honey, I tried to sell it but nobody even bid. I guess I'm just stuck with it!" sneaky sneaky, is this the voice of experience speaking? that one cracked me up debby, but you know could be spot on. Cj
