Loose cush drive paddle

Can a slightly loose paddle be tack welded to tighten it? I tried wicking loctite unsuccessfully. Thanks in advance.

The drum if original is cast steel not cast iron as the copies from India are made from. I would peen the round piece of the paddle on the inside to tighten it up.

What model year ?
Earlier models were worse than later as A.N. improved the paddle retentions.
Glues / Locktite not an option. Good luck.

Unfortunately, once you "wicked" the loctite you have made the welding option nearly impossible.

When was the last time you were unable to achieve a good weld due to contamination by loc-tite?

Not that I am aware of and neither is a revit, you are looking to expand the paddle shaft on the inside so it grips the hole.
