Hi all,
Relatively new to the Norton world and I recently acquired my grandfather's 71 Commando from the person he sold it to over 25 years ago. Unfortunately it was sitting outside for most of that time so I'm doing a full restoration. Currently looking for recommendations for machine shops. I'm on Long Island so I'm curious if there's anything on the island or close to it.
Cheers!

Yea I had seen their website before, looked like beautiful work. Glad to hear they're highly regarded on here. They are on the opposite end of the island from me but still only a 2-3 hour drive so certainly not the end of the world. I'll definitely get in touch with them. Thanks!

I think Kenny loves these kinds of stories as well.

I've never met him but I believe you will find him very approachable and helpful..
He's a Norton guy through and through...

if that is the bike by your name, be interested to hear the quote from NYC... hope you are sitting down!

If you plan on keeping your motorcycle,NYC Norton is money well spent!
Mike
