Hi all, I'm looking for an original mirror and stem for a 73 850 commando roadster. I don't want to use a triangle shaped one that is being sold as original . I would like to add one on the right side that will match the left one. If anyone has one they can part with please let me know.
    Thanks

I have a set of these....NOS Norton, never mounted.
Listed on Fleabay but if you still need them I can send them your way.

If jsn doesn't want the pair, I would be interested. The Titanic came with one cloudy, battered mirror and I need two good ones to complete the bone-stock resto.

Plus I could drive over and pick them up-cheaper than shipping.

If you really want them let me know and I will end the auction early.

I’m about 10 minutes west of the Arch....

I was really looking for an original or one without the rubber around the mirror. I have the left side, want to add one on the right that will match what I have. Thanks anyway.

I'm about a half-hour south of it. PM me your info, when and where you'd like me to show up. I'm retired and on a fairly open program. I do need to stop at Moto Europa sometime. If you wanna meet at the Grill....

How about meeting at the grill at 11:30 tomorrow?
I can’t stay as tomorrow is grandkid day but would be happy to bring mirrors down there.

Works for me. I will be wearing a red Carhartt jacket sitting at the bar.

Great to meet you too, Mark. 4 mirrors for the price of 2 can't be beat. I am looking into glass replacement for the older examples. The one with the cracked glass had a good stem which I combined with the old head I had for a decent pair only lacking good mirroring. I will be picking out the broken one to see what's inside and how I might effect repairs. The NOS mirrors are already on The Titanic.

If it hadn't been grandkid day for me I could have spent a bit more quality time at the watering hole picking Dans knowledge of Nortons...he definitely has a clue.

I picked and pried the glass out of the older mirrors-got one out in 3 large pieces, so I have a pattern to have some made. The glass is actually incased in copper sheet on the back side and around the edges. I managed to salvage the coppers and will re-use them with the new mirror glass. Now I gotta find a glass guy to make me some. Anyone else interested?

Next time we'll hang around the shop and museum and quaff some beverages at the bar. The service tech is a friend and will give us a nickle tour when the construction and remodel is finished.
