Hello All,
I am replacing the 3BA slot head screws that hold my tank badges on my G/N15's. These badges have a rubber "cushion" between the hard plastic badge and the tank. So my concern is that simply tightening the screws against the rubber compression will leave them prone to loosening
My question is whether light duty Loctite will cause problems with removal on small 3BA screws?

Thanks,
Ed

I would use Loctite 222 (Screw Lock). It will "undo with normal tools", and is what many spectacle makers use on fine screws.

Purple locktite is for small screws, I think I would try Permatex thread sealant, it might give you just enough “stick” to prevent backing out. It really never hardens either.
