Please vote yes or no if you want a Map showing forum users approx locations on a map.
 
Can we have a map with color coded "pins" to indicate if the Member would welcome visits from other members, would render road assistance, or wishes to remain private?

Hi Slick, you are quite demanding lol. I will be able to come up with a map that has pins with the global user locations. From that point on members can contact each other if they want to get together or make any other arrangements. It will be easy to remain private, simply remove your location from personal details (I think). It will be quite simple to begin with if I do this.

Lets see what other members want. I will run the poll for a few days.

I want to run the poll until the weekend first. I remember a few years ago I published the IP by the avatar and some members got upset. This is a similar thing and that is why I am running a poll. Your IP will only tell anyone your basic metro area, so its no more of a threat than everything else online these days.
 
It looks like I will be moving forward with the Map idea. I added it to the list.

May I suggest those of us who would welcome members passing thru our area, to place a V (visits) in your signature, and those who would offer roadside assistance, place a R (roadside assist), as I have done.
