Lin Hopper Was Here

Hi - This is kinda fun...

I am rebuilding a '75 E-Start motor and on the bottom of the head is etch written the following:
" Lin Hopper was here 6-14-77"

The bike has been sitting outside for many, many years and is in very rough shape. The motor, though, seems like it just had a recent rebuild. Nice job too.

Just curious, anyone know Lin and where he worked?
