Having read about leakdown tests on this forum I thought I should make a test of my own.
You can get this leak down tester from Amazon
Put it on the bike and had to stand on the brake to keep the crank from turning. A helper recorded about 2% or 3 % leakage with gapless rings and short JSM pistons. I think this is pretty good considering all the miles I have been riding - 30,000 plus.
