LAYSHAFT & Mainshaft BEARING

Hi,
I bought from Andover the LAYSHAFT ROLLER BEARING n. 18337 and the Mainshaft gear bearing N. 040098, and the Mainshaft Inner cover bearing N. 040099.

Please let me know if they go well or I can find better bearings, Fag type etc..
If you can tell me the brand and numbers?

Hi Jim,
please, with the roller layshaft bearing i must shim the kickstart shaft?.
Why the standard transmission with the same roller bearing do not mount the shim?.

I have just bought a MK 3 gearbox that as the lay bearing "Blown out" of the end...must have given the rider a bit of a shock when it happened!
