So sorry to hear this.

I bought the damper kit from him a year or so ago and talked to him directly a couple of times.

He did wonderful work, helped the Norton community and was a good guy.

My prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

The news of John R.'s passing really bites ... he was good man ....good thoughts and wishes to his family

John was one of my favourite guys on here. We were both interested in Vincents and had some very pleasant personal message discussions about them.
Same as with Nortons, if there is a mutual interest there you never run out of things to discuss.
Silly thing, but it was always a bit of a highlight for me to get mail from him.

A very gifted craftsman and a nice person.

May he rest in peace.

My best thoughts to his family.

Very sorry to read about John's passing. There are not many left like him. My condolences to his family.

Very sad news, it shows we are only on this Earth for a short time, so enjoy it as much as you can while we are here, you never know when your time is up, RIP John.

Have a set of his dampers in the Norton and another in the Trident.
And now, poof, he's gone.
Sad moment but remember he is only just a bit ahead of us all.
RIP John and condolences to his family.

I only knew John via emails, both on this forum and personal correspondence when buying stuff from him. A true gentleman, very straight and honest.
I'll miss him. Go well John, there are damn few like you.

Steve in Denmark.

So sorry to hear of John's passing.
A good man, who made great products.
A few of which live on in my Commando.
Regards and condolences to his family and close friends.

So sorry to hear this news RIP John.
I have 3 x sets , one set in both my Roadster and one set in the race bike, also a set a friend couldnt get to work in his Roadster.
Every time I adjust the C or the R and change the fork oil I will have a good memory of John, like others on the forum, spoke to him directly on here .
Condolences to his family
Regards Mike

A very sad loss indeed, John was a great friend to us all.
His family can be proud of the work he did and the legacy which lives on in our bikes.
