One of the motorcycle applications mentioned is as a coating for aluminum chain sprockets. Might have a problem finding a facility in the US that will do small jobs at a reasonable price.
Also, the properties vary quite a lot depending on the alloy you are coating. For high copper alloys the coating is very hard. Might not be as hard for other alloys, but still looks better than hard anodizing.
Peel is able to fit Al rear sprockets so will keep that in mind monitoring Grit grinding. Wonder if the lifters could be made of hi strength AL coated in Keronite.
Might be the Cat's Meow to preserve polished Al show pieces better than waxing and waxing between rebuffing.
