I have an Interstate and want to fit a FB seat, would like to know from someone who has done this conversion and ALL the parts needed, thanks in advance........

Me too I am looking to do the same trim set up my seat does not have the ears I’ll be watching

FB tail, fender, license plate bracket and seat with ears removed. Customizing the seat doesn’t hurt either. Edit: you’ll also the tail light assembly, including backing plate, rubber gasket, reflector, lense, and the two little spacers that go between the back of the light and the license plate bracket, with all the associated screws.

Looks great with the roadster side panels
And a proper job on the seat shape and upholstery
No pillion footrests so I assume solo use only? Looks comfortable

Do you have a shot of the side with the pipes?

Thanks a lot that is just what I needed, I have a new seat base coming just need an old metal seat pan to form the foam, who did the upholstery looks real nice, you did a fine job!

I had the seat done by a local lady, business name is Haversack Leathers, in St. Mary’s ON, Canada. You can find her in all the regular places, web, FB , Instagram. I took the tank, tail and a spare frame over to her shop so she could contour everything, really happy with her work.

That blue bike is drop dead beautiful.....that's the look I am after except I have had my "s" exhaust experience.….enuf for this lifetime.....really nice motorcycle !

I agree, best looking bike Norton never made. The boat tail balances out the big tank nicely, and that is a beauty.

I just have to say your bike is beautifully done. When you first look, you think it is a modern bike, then you see all the
original old components and realize what it is. Just lovely.

Thanks for the kind words guys. This bike was my first of many Norton’s, been with me for 35 years and in Interbak trim for 30 of them. It has been an ever evolving machine and has never stayed the same any two years in a row. The seat is the newest addition, had it out for it’s first test ride yesterday. What a difference new, modern foam makes over the deteriorating 50 year old factory stuff. It does raise the seat high noticeably, so I’ll be going to slightly taller bars, thinking about the Renthall alloy high road bars I saw in another thread here, any comments on them or other suggestions would be appreciated.
