I've often wished that the stock clocks were angled up more, to face the rider more directly.
I've seen thinner holders that wd be easy to adjust, and wondered if anyone has successfully bent the stock clock holders. I like the older shallow ones 06-0510, if that matters.
The idea wd be to clamp the small end in a vise, warm them up, and using a length of large diameter pipe long enough to give leverage, pull them "up".
I understand they are cast, and that the bending temp is probably close to the melting point. And they are pretty thick at the bending point, more than 8mm or 5/16".
Is there any chance of doing this without breaking them, or is this just another "pipe dream"?
