Hi All,

I'm looking for an indicator + high/low beam + horn (nice to have only) switch narrow enough to fit between the clutch lever bracket and the left hand rubber on the handlebar. Ideally speaking, it should be no wider than 1 inch. But it's very difficult to find here in France or Europe.

Has anyone heard of some source for that?

Many thanks & regards,

Laurent

Standard Wipac Tricon (Hi/Low, horn kill) or Ducon (hi/low, horn) switches should fit the bill, and would be correct for a pre-'71 Commando. Most Norton parts shop carry a modern repop of them.

Neither the Tricon or Ducon have an indicator switch though, and the Tricon 'kill button' is a magneto cut-out.
The pre-'71 Commando was the Wipac Triconsul with High/Low beam, horn and headlamp flash.

You're right, missed the indicator requirement. Guess it didn't click in my head to have both indicator and hi/low on the same switch.

Remarkable recommendation for someone who manufactures non 'cheapo chinese' parts :?

Thanks a lot / Merci beaucoup!

Their 1200-55 is exactly what I need. Really narrow (25,8 mm).

Look carefully at this switch. I bought one, but didn't use it (I recently threw it away, otherwise you could have had it for postage costs). The headlight main / dip is also the headlight off switch. How easy, with gloved hands, will it be to accidentally switch your lights OFF instead of dipping them?!

Hence I didn't use it and instead chose a switch assembly that had a separate switch for on / off and main / dip.

hehehe I'm Aussie, so my parts are Australian made

Thanks for the info Nigel.
I noticed it too. I very rarely ride at night so it won't be a real problem.

Or maybe be I'll connect it using only the High/Low positions and leaving the ON/OFF switch on the headlamp as today (I have a Dominator chassis).
