interesting girder front end, does it work well enough & is it fun to ride ? Very Nice looking rig all around though, nice buy !!

Yes . Rather Nice . I suppose we'll tolrate the chair .
A uncle had a Indian , his missus was saying they rode with the two kids slung about it , one on the tank . Didnt think anything of it in those days , but didnt think 'they' d approve ' now ', in the 80s . :lol:

Is that a 1948 Indian or a reproduction? I looked at buying a Chief which had those forks back in about 1960, I think they were asking about 60 pounds for it. I was also offered a beautifully restored one for 35 pounds in the early 60s. These days the prices of those bikes are scary. I really like them, they are better than any Harley ever was.
