I thought I would share this experience with you all for what it's worth. A while back I installed LEDs all around my N15CS along with a small agm battery. Yesterday afternoon I went out for a ride running my headlights as daytime running lights as I now normally do. With the original setup, keeping the battery up was always questionable especially in traffic. I returned home about 4:00 pm and parked it in the garage. At about 11:00 pm while getting ready for bed, I noticed a light in the garage and lo and behold I realized that I had forgotten to turn the light switch off. The headlight was burning as bright as ever after seven hours! Try that with the OEM filament bulbs and lead acid battery.

Good to hear that you've solved your lighting problem that easy.
LEDs are a good upgrade if you frequently leave lights on when parking your bike.
I think your charging system have degraded a bit since new. No need to worry about that for a couple of years after your upgrade. Ride happily.

I use a little 12V 1.3amp Duracell Ultra AGM battery to power the Boyer for starts and help with the lights if/when I switch them on. I use a 47 year old M.A.P. battery eliminator as well. The little AGM gets some recharge juice from the alternator when the motor is running. The little battery hasn't exploded, so I guess it all works. I'll have to look into swapping the two bulbs I use to LEDs. Good tip
