The BSA Rocket 3 racebikes with the raygun exhaust 👍!!!

I did not know Triumph had a triple racing dirt track. Those must have been a handful. Not much on the internet about them either.

I suggest a 500cc Manx Norton ridden properly, would be enough to scare the shit out of anyone on the IOM. When I watch those on-board videos, I often look at the ends of the straights and wonder which side of the road the bike should be on. You would not need to forget. My mate raced a Manx there in the 60s. The first time he went there he did an 84 MPH lap. But he got faster. Bill Horsman won the Junior Classic TT there, but he was an exceptional rider. He only rode there once. I think it was with an Aermacchi 350.
I think dragging a 3 cylinder BSA around there might be bad.
I would not ride there, I have the wrong mentality for that. I would be certain to over-cook a corner somewhere.

Strangely all the modern riders who ride the classics say they hold the Rob Norths flat out everywhere! Good handling good brakes not enough power!

A bike with a torquey motor is usually safer than a bike with a peaky motor. Some guys believe radical cams are better because they give more power. However if the revs fall out of the bottom of the usable rev range in a corner, more power has to be found to get around the corner safely. Slipping the clutch in a corner with a peaky bike is not really clever. For me, with my first race bike - being balked in a corner was often a source of dread,
