"I don't care"

Here is some GOOD news...(well not good news for the poor folks on that moto...good news would be if they got left alone - that was totally f-ed.)

wasp my ass....I get as irritated as anyone when I get cut off, or what not, but this is ridiculous, even if they pulled a stunt on this guy a few miles back.

My buddy Gil was struck by a 2x4 that was being carried in a car with about 3 feet of it sticking out the window as the old geezer passed him. Gil was an off duty cop at the time, and when he picked himself out of the ditch, he hunted down the vehicle (it was a rural area with good visibility for parked cars). He found it, went into the guy's home, interviewed him, the guy denied knowledge of having struck him. Gil performed a citizen's arrest (he was out of his jurisdiction) and the old geezer eventually lost his license for being too incompetent to drive.

Once, I had a guy in a VW bug try to touch my rear wheel with his front bumper while we were both moving down the road! He was so close, I could not see him in the mirrors! When I sensed something was close behind me, I turned my head in time to see this guy peering intently over his steering wheel at his front bumper which was then about 6 inches from my wheel. Needless to say, I gave him the international sign of ill will with my left hand, and twisted open the throttle with my right.

Dang! Motorcycles are dangerous .... or is it stupid people?

There was a kid (I was a kid then too) in my home town with a hot rod VW bug who would get it sideways around residential street corners. One time on my 72 750 he came around sliding in front of me. I slammed on my feeble stock Norton front brake as much as I could & when he straightened out his rear bumper did just touch my front tire!! We had more then words at the next red light. Somehow his door got smashed, window broken & his nose & steering wheel got bloody. Oops! Well we were young. Another local friend & I were recently remembering his antics and how another time when he got his car sideways coming around on to a friends street he ended up getting a red brick through his windshield that was wrongly facing the guys house instead of facing up the street... Not saying these were smart or even good things but it was a younger wilder time & a more rural setting where people tended to handle their own business. Nowadays these things would land you in prison as a domestic terrorist.

I was wondering about this the other day...I dont find anything new in an internet search, anyone know what is going on? Did the car driver get charged?

I 've been driving truck for 38 yrs. and riding bikes for 50 yrs. and I've seen my share of idiotic 4 wheelers pulling stupid tricks just because they're in a hurry. Driving trucks and riding motorcycles have to be operated the same way you have to drive defensively or you won't be around all that long. But in the same light I've seen some people on bikes that have no business riding them or owning them.
