More of a reference to oil consumption actually...

Ill show on my Enfield Interceptor:
using more oil, having more vibration, going slower, exploding sooner
BUT
Ill have more chrome! :-)

A friend of mine has bought and sold three of them over the past 5 years - 2 T150s and a T160. He just sold the T160 to purchase his Rickman Trident

Maybe you should come over to the US? That's where most of them were sent.

Nigel , do you not think you're taking this Trident hunting a bit too far?

I clearly told my wife NOT to share that photo dammit....!

The road bike?

Chris

Can't see a horn Chris, so you're disqualified!

Where is that BTW?

Are you doing classic endurance these days? What's the crack with that? That appeals to me...

Posted your bits this morning matey, thanks a lot.

Hi Eddie

Horn is on the headstock :D The photo was taken at the London City Airport sprint, a tremendous event. Lots of the sprinting events have dissapeared in the last 10 years. I have said before, that these are a fantastic day out as you can run your bike & set it up with out upseting the neighbours. Get as many runs as you can queue up for, play with jetting etc between runs. Last time out was £69.

Loved the idea of the 4 hour classic endurance but cant afford to run the North. However my brother has always looked sideways at my "old bikes" reliability & prefers a button to start his bikes has decided to go the whole hog this winter & put out team Tyler on a trio of VFR750 :D Paint matched, forks & shocks updated, new tyres & chains & the carbs ultrasonicly cleaned. Four bikes in total (one spare) This one is to be prepared for the Donnington endurance race :D
Deep in my thoughts are the gear change on the wrong side & the wrong direction. But hell I have said yes as I only have to put in a few weekends work & find the entry fees.

Will get the Maney pipe bent up for the MK4 once it arrives back in the post. Glad you have got your bike sorted how you want it.
All change with the new crank & cases & more so with the big bore 920.

all the best Chris

This puppy has electric start and is running a commando clutch with sintered plates light as a feather.

Hi Auldblue

Sims used to do a norton clutch conversion for triples but was never keen to share any details.
Any photos? Info?

Thanks Chris

ps love my triples as much as my Commandos

Hi Chris

Sorry don't have any photos or further information ,he did tell me who built it but I forget. I will give the guy a phone and ask. But the clutch action was just perfect.

Jg
