This thing "Ain't no Commando" as far as looks go. I think it's FUGLY but as far as efficiency and modern tech. go its really getting there.

So... has the US power grid been made capable of everyone charging their electrical vehicles - potentially almost simultaneously?

This is all I see when I see these electric bikes
Probably great in the middle of a city apart from the lack of noise
So you'd have to have your wits about you with pedestrians stepping in front

Further to this electric cars are now going to have to pay road tax from next year
And it's about time too!
Not sure if bikes will have to pay?

No...American taxpayer dollars are and will continue to be utilized to subsidize and develop grid oriented power stations as well as for private EV development/mfg. companies via governmental legislative mandate. And don't forget the governmental tax rebate credit for each electrical vehicle sold.
I do have to ask how is the electrical power to this proposed nationwide charge station network developed?
Uh-Oh, might me the C-word.

The stats that struck me the most were:
60 mile range, can only ride 30 miles from home.
0-60 time of nearly 10 seconds! That is awfully slow considering EVs very high torque. I‘m curious as to why this is so slow, maybe deliberately restricted in order to increase range ?
They made it a slow-assed dog because they don't want any rider seriously injured when they fall off while texting on the phone or getting their man-bun mussed by excessive wind or...OMG!!!...wearing a helmet....or.....offending other texters by travelling too fast without approved oversight and permission. Someone might be momentarily frightened.

I charge mine with a gasoline powered generator

Stopped off at Tesco on my daily pushbike jaunt to buy a few bits, chained to the end of the cycle rack was some puce dayglo lime green ev cum scooter cum moped 'thing', but....
When arriving and departing I heard nothing but: 'that's cute', 'that's sweet', 'oooh, it's electric too' comments from various passers by, so somebody likes them!

And which is worse for emissions, a modern internal combustion automobile engine or a generator that burns gasoline or diesel?
No idea
I know we are being prepped for 3 hour a day electric outages because of lack of gas to run our power stations

I bet nobody said 'ooh I wonder how the electric was generated to run that' ?

The point is it's people that think they are going green by using electric
With no thoughts to how it's generated
