How to adapt a MV Magni for a 71 old disabled rider

Ready for my first test ride, the videos will follow one of this days.
Next pics are the changes I make on the bike:

How to adapt a MV Magni for a 71 old disabled rider

I lower the ticknes of the seat seat by one inch so I can put my two feet tips on the ground.

I make brackets in aluminium to put the footrest lower and more forward, the rear master cylinder stay on his place and I have to imagine a rocker system to brake.
I dont make anny other holes to put the bracket. I can go back to the original setting.

Here the bracket make for the gear change, the big bolt is the original place from the footrest.

I change also the clip-ons, now I use Tommaselli's, they allowd me to put the bars behind the forks legs, and not in front like original, thei are also one inch higher.

I have to change the electrical commodo, the original one was to tick and tutch the tank when turning.

I put a radial master cylinder with separte oil container.

All this changes are very efficient but keep the sporty look from the original and allowd me to ride the MV

Good work and happy ridding. You will be glad to know it was 36C here the other day. :-D

Damnit Yves, now I have to clean up all the drool from my keyboard now!
That's a wonderful bike you have, I hope you get many years of pleasure from it. Just be careful out there.

Wow! That sounds way nicer than I was expecting, and I expected it to sound nice!

Enjoy Yves !

Hi there,
Of course you believe me when I tell you that I respected the speed limit of 70 km / h.
I think I can say that this machine is fabulous, luckily I had an open heart operation last July, I do not believe that without that I would have survived this test.
My arms are ten inches longer now.
Thanks to the adaptation I made, I am perfectly at ease on this missile, what happiness.
On February 2nd I had my hip operated, complete refurbishment, after that I hope to tease the radars.
Keep you posted
