I take it you wasn't tempted with the Ponderosa's big breakfast then.

You on wrong side of the road , yikes !
Us Europeans have to ride on both sides, well if you want to venture further afield then our shores. As it happens I prefer to ride on the right and I’d say more than half my annual miles are in Europe, not yet on the Commando though.

Really lovely picture Dave. Has it been Photo shopped ? (I don't see a single pothole) ;)

cliffa.

Nice picture. A good looking Commando at a brisk pace through beautiful scenery. Doesn't get much better.

Yup , looks like magazine quality photo ..... send it ClassicBike Guide with a nice write up.....

You English scare me when I see you going down that side of the road...Gives me the heebie jeebies every time I see it. Keep thinking head on coming any minute...

I was up the back of a ZZR1400 that was slowing me down in the corners otherwise I’d have been making a better effort :)

The bike looks great Dave and you look like you are enjoying it, running down jap bikes are always fun, the only pics I get while riding are the speed cameras:mad:

Nice pic Dave, I did the same run on my candy red roadster only a month ago. A Norton Owners Club run by the Shropshire branch, and I was the only one on a Norton! Also the only one to get a clear run up the pass by going to the front of a traffic queue at some traffic lights at the bottom, heh heh. The run was to a classic bike meet at the Old Stores cafe near Mold, 15 ish miles further North, and a better class of biker cafe than the Ponderosa, imho?

The Nant Y Garth pass about 5 miles up the road from the Horseshoe is awesome, if you can get a clear run that is..
