Took these pics from last nights tv, “ The Motorcycle Show”, I know Henry is a big 961 fan, I saw his Dom being altered & updated last year ,so here is a few pics, next week he shows Norton exactly what he’s done.

Wow!

Not sure exactly what I was expecting, but that is a LOT better than I thought they’d come up with.

It looks like a production bike, not a ‘made in a shed’ bike...!

My only criticism is that the silencer should have been on the other side, with no chain to clear, it could have been tucked up more.

Actually, one other criticism...

I only watched the first epsiode, and I thought his objective was to customise whilst keeping it Euro 4 compliant.

Is that right?

Cos that mega doesn’t look too Euro 4 compliant to me...!

Simple & effective homemade link pipe from Allen Millyard,if u not heard of this guy just look him up,he joins like 3 Kara triple engines together for a 9 cyl 2 Stoke , & puts the American viper car engine in a bike , all from his little garage workshop

Am I the only one who doesn't like it? The rounded tank doesn't flow well into the tail which is more squared off and they couldn't think what to do with the air box so the painted it black and.... If they're changing the exhaust away from Euro4 then lets see some intake stacks or K&Ns. It's kind of like me doing the makeup on a supermodel - it would sort of look ok because the base is so good looking, but is still a world away from the proper thing. I'd rather have seen something less cosmetic and more technical, say, a drag bike build: how about a blown twin 961?

PS look at the work that Allen Millyard has done. He is a fantastic highly skilled engineer.

I never cared much for the fastback Nortons which that reminds me of. Overall, I Think its a pretty cool bike. I'd give it a 7/10 EDITING The more I look at it, the more I dislike it. When you improve on things, the should LOOK improved. That doesn't. It looks like a Nortasaki Fastback. Tank is so so. Tail is butt ugly.

I'm with Nigel on the exhaust.
Move it to the left side where there is no drive chain interference.
Run the pipe out back high, and keep the megaphone as close to bike centerline as possible for max cornering clearance.

But the body work is magnificent.
A metal tank too, damn, that's the ticket baby!!!!
How about tank indents for dudes with long legs?

Tank indents would spoil the lines, how about a couple of hip replacements?

I have to agree with Clive re the airbox, they cudda done something with that.

I reckon a nice, small, lightweight, highly efficient blower would be so cool!

And, WR, of course I think the reflectors are an abomination... but I didn’t want to sound picky...

They were heavily restricted by needing to stick with current Euro 4 cert with no retesting, after being told everything they could not touch it all seemed pointless, not sure how they get around the exhaust but the factory does as an accessory so why not.
