Hi, I am swapping the head on my faithfull 850 , going from an RH4 to an RH10, but i do not have right down the correct 30mm insulating washers , only the 32mm ones from the previous head, is that so vital , is the gap between head and carb mounting flanges will cause some troubles?????
I will order some 30mm asap , but if I can ride her today ............Pierre

For goodness sake, RIDE IT TODAY! We are talking about only 1 mm around the side here. As always, don't overtighten, no big whoop. You will not know the differance. Added turbulance may have a positive effect.

Hi thanx for your replies......carbies on , filter too, one hour drive along the coast , the sun was bright and not too much traffic, great! some laziness on the pickup, but after all seems Ok, my settings : twin amal 32mm , 106 JET,stepped bush & new four grooves needles on middle notch, 3.5 slides , and 260 main jets , all with peashooters and RH10, seems pretty std settings ??
the flowed RH4 will go back on the 920 which is languishing on the shelf..........
