Headlight polarity

I have a positive earth Commando,71.
Does this require a different seal beam? At least I think its a sealed beam, its the small 5 inch headlamp. Will a negative ground unit work?
Is there a difference?

No difference for a normal lamp. Different matter if it was led though!

The positive of all electrical devices will lead back to positive earth(s). As it was intended.

How many positive ground vehicles do you know of? How many positive ground electrical devices do you know of? I'd guess that negative grounds outnumber positive grounds greater than 99 to 1. Although the polarity of a device makes no difference in its function, it's a lot more convenient to be in step with the rest of the world. Before I get called out on this ground issue, anything that is polarity sensitive must be connected polarity correct, but the function does not change whether positive or negative ground. Learned that in Class "A" US Navy electronics school some 52 years ago. I imagine it still holds true.
