Any thoughts who does these headlamp wiring harness grommets? This one can be preserved with a dab or two of superglue, but it would be nice to get some spares
Also I was wondering if a few minutes in very hot water would make it malleable enough to reshape it?
3 used on the Trident and 2 the same on the Commando.

Standard Lucas headlamp grommets are available from just about any Brit parts supplier.

If you also wanted a grommet for the T160 console then it is a smaller diameter.

Thanks Les. See, all I needed to do was look in the right place - Access Norton 👍

The double brown/blue with the large spade connector and taped (red?) wires with the broad ring terminal go to the Zener diode (and 'finned egg' heat sink bolt) so wouldn't normally be inside the headlamp shell.

Yes I’d agree, but when I dismantled it - possibly for the first time ever since it was built, that wire combo looped back out of the rh grommet down to the Zener position. It seems strange, but it works.

Ok, maybe that's correct although I'm not sure my T160's Zener wires would reach like that without stress especially the brown/blue, so they separate just before the grommet.

This machine has a few quirks. The brake pipes and bracket are different to the parts book and to my example.

Here is a picture of the zener diode and shows how easily the wires coming out of the headlamp the ‘wrong way’ have ample length.
