header pipes for MK3

Hey All, my 1976 MK3 original header pipe finally cracked below the cross over balance tube. I have been wanting to change over from the bean cans to the reverse cone mufflers and do away with the balance tube. Having trouble finding pipes made just for the Mk3. Question, will 1974 850 header pipes work with the reverse cone mufflers on a 1976 MK3 ?? Thanks Hershey

Yes they will

The Mark 3 primary cover has a drain plug that can affect the fit of different make headers.
Also, the peashooter style mufflers may have their two mounting lugs in a slightly different position so the plates mounted on the rubber bobbins may need to be altered.
