Am going to fit the new head shortly however am wondering should I replace the head bolts at the same time?
They probably have about 3500 mile on them since rebuild

They better still be good as new over many times re-used. Only rods and crank fasteners are to be replaced each time or who knows.

I recall I asked this same question to T.C. Christensen when I was rebuilding my first Commando many years ago.
His reply was something along the lines of "Those F-ing bolts don't stretch".
The old bolts are probably better quality than you can buy now.
I usually bead blast them then zinc plate them to keep them from corroding and make them purty.

Haha cheers Messerschmitt
I didn't think so but was just a bit unsure
I will check them thoroughly for serviceability and go from there.

Is this on your new Fullauto head?

Why not treat it to lovely 12 point ARP fastener kit from CNW...

Yep it is for the FA head. I'm really excited. Pick it up on Tuesday. Am going to fit new kibblewhite valves but am going stock everything else (springs gasket etcetera) as that is what I have at hand.
Would love to pop in a set of beehives but just can't afford it at the moment.

Once I've sorted it I can get my old head fixed (ex ports) and will have it as a bench ready replacement. If I ever move over to canada or the states (which I would really consider doing!!!) I can rip off the head and my Maney belt drive, sell marea (my 850 named after my mom) and refit to something when I get settled.
IM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW

Why go to all the trouble installing it on a bike you may end up selling anyway. If you want you could ship those parts on ahead to me here in Canada and I'd look after them till you got here. :P

The kibblewhite kit with the valves and springs is a reasonable price, their springs have a very good reputation and they would be nice to have new to install.

Haha! I'm sure you would take good care of it too my friend!!!
To be honest I doubt I'll sell marea as the chances of me getting permanent residency in CAN or US are next to nil. Unless I win that green card lotto!!

Come on over. There are literally millions here without papers. Tens of millions. Nobody will do anything to you.

Haha. Cheers onder!
My luck, I'd be the guy they made an "example of"
Now, where is that green card lotto application.....
