Has anyone found a source for handlebars for the early P11 with the correct bend? Both Walridge and AN supply this bar, but it is too straight (less pullback) than the original. Plus the crossbar is too high for the early ones.

We have a couple sets of original bars, but they are too far gone to restore. Does anyone know of someone who makes custom 7/8 inch bars that might be willing to make a small run of new bars? Flanders? Perhaps Walridge and Baxter's might want stock a few?

Have you thought of using Commando SS bars, I got a couple of pairs last year from AN and the brace is much lower , and with a greater pull back compared to the ones Ron has illustrated.
Or Triumph TR5T trophy Trail bars, that are similar, to the SS bars.

We have a set of original '71 Commando SS bars, the pullback is better than most, but not quite right. Also while the crossbar is lower, it also is of a smaller diameter than the P11 bars. They might be closer than the current P11 listing. It certainly does not keep one from riding their P11, but I always found those bars to be distinctive to the P11.

Period photo from Hot Rod magazine test, 1967 I think.

I always found oem P11 handlebars to be very uncomfortable, unable to stand up, way too pulled back, but a P11 original look.

Nice Pic. Wonder where that bike is now. Stock bars look good but are terrible to ride with. Husky MX bars make a big difference.
