Grab rail

Did the 71 commando 750 roadster come with a grab rail. If yes which one. AN lists a few.

They started with two, one for Roadsters and one for Interstates, then on the MK3 went to a universal one.

Grab rails were fitted from approximately 212278 for 750 Roadsters (part 063819, also 850 Roadsters) so late '72-onward.

According to Norton Service Release N3/54, the adjustable "commonised" 064978 grab rail that fitted both Roadster and Interstate was supposed to have been introduced around May '73, and the previous individual grab rails were no longer available as spare parts, however, the Mk2/2A supplement (from serial number 307311) still lists the individual 063819 (Roadster) and 063632 (Interstate) grab rails.

For some reason best known to themselves, AN currently sells only the individual model grab rails.
