Gotta love a one-kick classic Triumph Bonneville

This bike sat for NINE YEARS (well, 8 years, 11 months and 13 days). Started on the first kick after cleaning the carbs and installing a new battery and spark plugs.

I have a T140D that sat for over 4 years. Drained the tank, changed the battery, sprayed a little gumout in the carbs. First kick. Rode it all day. Less is more.

Sold it for a tidy sum and applied it to THIS...



Basically, a free restoration. Less than 200 serial numbers apart. It's also a one-kick starter and runs as good as it looks. The reason it was a "free" upgrade is because I did make-runs and sold 2 bikes, sold two rolling projects, and am doing one more finish, make-run & sell triton, all for a friend who no longer rides. The Bonnie upgrade slid under the bottom line he was looking for on the garage full of bikes.

Just had it out yesterday for a nice ride in beautiful weather; nice.
