Was at the Revival for Barry Sheene's last race in 2002. Quite emotional to watch.

I simply said 'g'day' to Sheene at Phillip Island and he told me to get stuffed. Not what you would expect from a top road racer. But he was riding a classic bike at the meeting and might have been stressed. In racing, the speeds are relative. To get a Manx or G50 to be much faster, takes a lot of talent.
