gear lever and kickstart quad seals Q 4213 [Mod. Edit: The seal is 4214] and Q 4114, does anyone know a source in the UK? I'm drawing a bit of a blank at the moment :(

Andover Norton sells 04-0005 & 04-0006 as x-rings and has done for quite some time.

Now I look stupid, not hard I know! but I've searched endless bearing/engineering suppliers without giving the usual first ports of call a thought, after reading the thread about these rings I sought of got carried away thinking it was some radical new fix, probably should have checked the date on the thread, thanks all the same. another satisfied customer. :D

Rgm get small stuff to me in the UK in under 24 hours from ordering, quite a bit quicker than Andover Norton.

I ride or drive there if I need something that only they can supply.....they never rush themselves, 2-3 days to despatch is normal which is why RGM get most of my orders. Andover parts are sent from 38 miles away from me 330 miles to RGM in the back of beyond and back again. Crazy really and not a problem, just the way they operate. Very busy I assume.

I pretty much order from everyone, depends on what I need, exchange rate, speed of delivery, et, like the rest of us. I was amazed recently - I ordered some stuff from Andover last week. Dent out on Thursday, I got it on Monday, however, if I get my act together and had this shipped a couple of days earlier - Tuesday, I would have had it on Friday. And this is all the way to Phoenix, AZ. Same with RGM, 2-3 days last order. About the same from the west coast sources I also order from. Very happy with the speed of shipping.

One thing 'tho, genuine Andover Norton parts don't have the little parts cards in the packets anymore, they have printed ID stickers on the little plastic bags. Cost savings I 'm sure, but I like of liked those little cards. No biggie.

I've used one of these with good results on the kick starter where the factory o-ring leaked like a sieve. Any auto parts or bearing supply place should have them. I use the factory o-ring on the shifter with no problem. It sits mostly above the fluid level in the box.

The little hand written cards were time consuming apparently, the stickers are quicker as the order can be printed on a line of stickers and then picked and then the sticker placed on the packet - nothing new, many commercial retail outlets use them.
