!973 750 Commando. Gearbox mounting holes enlarged so that 1/2" lower and 9/16 " upper are sloppy enough that the gearbox can twist at least 5-10 degrees in the cradle. Mounting holes have become tapered from the middle as you would expect. I am considering drilling/reaming 1/16" increase in both as there is considerable meat in the casting. PITA as I have to fabricate new bolts and drill/ream cradle mounting points. Any comments?

Likely will go with bushings, od +1/8" over existing holes. Bore/ream 1/8" over, loctite bushng, then ream to 9/16" upper and 1/2" lower . I have some rotocast bronze which should work
