Gearbox level thread repair

Can anyone please confirm the thread for the gearbox level pug. Doubt it makes a difference but it’s a 72, 750.
Threads stripped and I need to helicoil.

Since you can look inside the gearbox and see the level screw, you could use any 1/4" screw that is a little longer and a matching nut. I never remove them - I just look inside.
 
If you want to repair the thread, have a look at the BaerCoil kits. Very competitive pricing in Europe at least. I’ve just bought an M22x1.5 mm repair kit for the Ducati and it was much cheaper than Timserts or Helicoils.
 
That bolt is such a small bolt and such a find thread, they strip very easy.
