Gaiter straps

The small front fork plastic gaiters pretty much just broke off when I tried to move them.
But I found a pair of the long rubber ones in a box from some other decade.
That was all there was in the bag. No devices to hold them on.

I was just wondering what some of the meathods you guys might be using to strap them on with!

Black wire ties hold my full length gaiters. I've also used safety wire in the past for the the small gaiters.

I used stainless steel gaiter clips from Walridge Motors.

On mine, I have the top of the gaiter secured with a narrow discrete s/steel jubilee clip, and the bottom of the gaiter sits (with a bit of patience and fiddling about) just over the top collar on the fork leg. No clip on this end as it remains there if you get the inner extended rim/lip past the edge of the top collar.

I use to use black zip ties. Cheap and nearly invisible. And easily replaced.
