Hi Guys--a newbie here but some of you may recognize my handle on other boards which is Tridentman.
I am primarily a Triumph and BSA guy.
However just bought a package of three barn finds.
Two are Triumphs which I am happy to identify etc etc.
The third seems as though it could be a Matchless/Norton hybrid although it has been chopperized and is in true barn find condition.
The frame looks to me to be Matchless---twin down tubes and a single top frame rail.
The steering head has been raked and looks to be heavily bonded so no frame number immediately visible.
The rear end of the frame has been cut off and a hard tail welded on.
The engine is stamped G15CSR/112***.
Am I correct in thinking that this is a 1966 Matchless/Norton hybrid?
If so were many made?
And what might it be worth ?(true barn find condition but engine does turn over).
Many thanks in advance for info.

Hello, Richard. :)

Thanks very much for that reference, Les, extremely interesting reading.
So it looks as if I have the remains of a Matchless/Norton factory café racer, one of about 500 built.
Well--I have enough Triumph and BSA projects to keep me going until I am about 140 years old so if anyone is interested before it goes on EvilBay then let me know.

You could post an ad. in the Access Norton "For Sale" section (give your approximate location)?
