Fuel Cap Latch

A few years ago, the latch on my cheap taiwan cap broke... I'm calling it cheap because the chrome started to bubble after less than a year.
I replaced the whole cap with a really nice NOS alloy one from domiracer. Today, that latch broke.

I'm wondering if anyone has a source for just the latch from the monza cap.

Where is the latch breaking at?

Dave, I think both of them broke at the mounting pin. I'm not exceptionally rough with theses things.... just push down to close!

can you post a picture of the latch, posibly one of us could machine one from billet.

Thanks Wolfie, when the first one broke, I asked the guy across the road who has a cnc mill... he said " if its less than $100, buy a new cap" more trouble than its worth!

I'm old school, I don't have a CNC and I know how to turn the cranks. It shouldn't be that big of a job.

Keep a close eye on them thar radii.
