Front wheel reassembling

I must admit that it is a project that has dragged a bit ...

So I'm a little lost in putting things back together, even if I made photos before...

Looks like some spacer is missing because I can't tighten the spindle without blocking the wheel on the fork.

My P11 is a 1967 with a shaved hub.

mine has a spacer 24mm OD x 4mm thick on left side, steel zinc plated, now rusty.

looks like you are missing pieces on right side......and this spacer , I mention, is on your right side, should be moved to left.
I see a missing a large ring nut, and another medium size nut on right side.

my front axle is installed with nut on left side.

here is my right side , I have to admit it doesn't look quite right, so what does another look like?

here is a photo from 1967 magazine cover shoot. I think you will find the front axle is installed with nut on the left side. I don't know if this impacts the wheel install.
you are missing some parts as pictured above.

Watching at the picture, you might be 100% right elefantrider, but as Piero, the bike was driving well before with the spindle backwards.

Might let the fork not touch the nut?
 
The raised step on the right side of this spindle should be outside the brake assembly plate. In the first photo, you can see a shadow of where it once lay.

we need an exploded view of the front hub and axle.

I cant find one.....anyone?

And yes, here spindle have the thread on the LH side.

Can you confirm that there are no spacer or washer on RH, and what we see is the spindle.

And on LH side, number 2 is the spindle and number 1 a washer or spacer

Replacement Parts P11 page 23

The "Cover-plate" is the front Brake plate

I am not seeing this two piece spacer (1 & 2) at the brake plate being listed in spares, only 02-9221. Brake plate spacer - Cover-plate.

Perhaps the two piece is a P11A Ranger addition for trim?
