Does the adjuster screw into the boss on fork leg or is it a sliding fit? Mine doesn't want to do either.
 
The adjuster is undoubtedly threaded, I took his question to be in reference to this fitting. Although now that I'm reading closer, it is in reference to the cable adjuster which can be seen also in the photo and is threaded.

Sorry, I meant the boss on brake plate. Trouble with having the computer in the house and the bike in the garage. I was able to get it to screw in.
 
Interesting that AN's photo of the part shows it with the chrome peeling off. :cool:
