Maybe we should all go back to dinosaur grease obtained from ducks and chickens and solve the world oil shortage problem :!: :D

Interesting stuff, especially page three where total energy balance/loss is nicely summarized. Makes a good arguement for a heat recovery system, maybe an Organic Rankin Cycle (ORC). I think Mercedes may have done something along these lines.

Knowing what i do now my next Peel plan is to put Bon Ami into the intakes on early run in and in the oil too, to polish up surfaces of bearing rollers to big end shells and valve guides and cam drive area. Bon AMi is limestone calcite + feldspar dust + baking soda. The ole farts of UK-NOC list told us that early in the Battle of Britain RAF tried dumping nano size grit ahead of the chasing Luftwaffe fighters to slow em down but quit the experiment fairly soon as the grit polished up and ring sealed better so the German's could catch up and shoot em down.

Really? I thought they relied on the tried & true British tradition of shedding a fog of fasteners, every time the maxed out the boost, -'going through the gate"
