after dragging my feet and very slowly restoring/rebuilding a 1965 Norton N15CS, it is done (mostly) and running.

No chance of hitting a deer with those pipes

Very nice restoration, you should be proud :!:

Pa, I see you fitted it with nobblies, so will you be taking it for the odd off-road excursion?

Panorton, This is very nicely done. I have just arrived in the US and will be picking up my own G15 project from Rabers this week. It's in similar condition to your before photos and I am inspired to get started immediately, although I'm only going to be here for a month I intend to make good progress so that on my next trip I will have acquired all of the parts that I need.

These make great parts-donors for real Norton and Matchless bikes.....

Very nice restoration, its a credit to you and a great colour. I am in mid restoration of G15CS and I have seen a number and owned another previously over the years.
I am intrigued by your centre stand position? Yours seems to be very far forward (i.e. over vertical) is that for any particular reason? Regards, Paul.

Great looking bike! I really like the color.

I've yet to put the stripes on my tank - did you use a template? On my Ranger, the top point is supposed to go back further than the bottom, and the stripes are gold. Just haven't worked up the courage to attempt it yet.

it's possibly worn or backwards. thanks for the tip. i'll take another look at it.

Also, why does it look there are 2 different center stands in the photos? The photo just above the video of you riding, that looks more like an atlas center stand, but in the previous photos, that looks more like a normal N15 center stand.... ??? Am I seeing things?

Happy Motoring
