how tight should the slider collar be with the stock fork seals?

Sometimes you need to shave off the rubber around the outer edge of the seals, as they won't press into the slider.

This won't effect the oil tightness or operation of the oil seal, and it's down to the newer mass produced seals being metric sizes.

...same issue for the drive side crankcase oil seal.

Imperial sizes can be sourced, but most suppliers ship metric because they are cheaper.
