Most of us saddo’s on here have got several bikes.

So I got to thinking, when the roads become dry and the sky becomes blue, which do you choose for that first ride... and why...?

Since the cold snap went away, I have been using my Scrambler - but only for commuting to and from work, cannot go anywhere else...

A friend has just bought a new Z900, I expect a meeting at Box Hill will be on the cards as soon as the lockdown eases.

I have entered this year's (VMCC) Herefordshire on the Edge run on my Norton. June 27th. That usually ends up in a 600m weekend, ~300 on the day and 150 each way to get there and back. A fine day out and a beautiful county to ride around.

Well, I have been toodlling around on a 1972 Honda CL350 I got for cheap (it is awesome) and is a great little trail rider and makes my male retired neighbors envious....

But i am in Arizona, so heat aside, every day is riding weather....

Haven't ridden since our cold snap 2 weeks or so ago, but the Wing is on the agenda Saturday with the Norton on Sunday.... This is if the roads are dry.... If sloppy the Wing both days because I don't want to risk washing the protective oil and grime off the Norton allowing rust a foothold.

Take out the one that's closest to the door, myself don't have the problems as you all have with lay ups, to mine is what bike will I take out today or any day of the years lol.

Mk 3 Commando is first, don't know why but it always is.

Rickman Enfield the others are all in various states of disassembly...:-(

Well.... My Honda 250 fusion scooter is my go to 2 wheeler at the moment, so the cover is coming off it as it warms up over here, but the Mklll will get some long overdue lovin' this summer.

FJR1300ES because:
a) closest to the garage door
b) still too cold to ride without wind protection
c) hasn’t made it to my “bury with my bike“ list......yet, so road salt isn’t an issue. Ride it, wash it and put it away wet.

It read 4 degs above in the shed today when I got the bike out, f.in freezin in the wind though. Nice bowl of stew on my return rounded off the short trip out.

One bike is an awesome number , gets the use and attention it needs to work proper .....

I haven't gone for an actual ride, just "woke up" the 2 bikes in the garage. The 2000 Triumph Legend 900 triple was first, then the Kawasaki ZRX1200R.

The ZRX brake pedal was MUCH easier on my still-swollen (formerly broken) right foot.

The first ride I'll have on a Norton that WAS mine, is when I get the green 880 done with it's intake guide replacement, probably near 2 weeks from now (it's getting tires too).

Once we are allowed out again the 650ss :D that's my usual go to daily still, hopefully though If I get my finger out could be the Commando or my 250lc I'm sticking together but it'l probably be my 650ss :)

My Triumph Tiger 800 XCA is the first to be used. Was out last Sunday for a 200km run, it was foggy and only 2 degrees so the heated seat and grips were on full steam. Was out on the mk3 a few weeks ago when we almost had a heatwave here in NL.
