Thats a BLOor-garNER...Or a Hin-ton (HINckley-DonningTON) !

Whatever...I mean a 2013 Triton! There's a write up on one in this months Classic Bike Guide (UK publication). According to them, the chap built it due the Norton "engine and transmission having thrown up a few major flaws" !

Does anyone know the score here? Are such issues starting to come to light now that bikes have been out long enough to have accrued some mileage?

Plenty of issues coming to light. Have a look on the NOC 961 forum. Worst of all, Norton failing to acknowledge problems in at least one case. This year may be interesting as miles get put on the allegedly improved bikes, but I suspect a) most of the bikes will do very few miles and b) some owners may refuse to acknowledge there are problems - Bob Parsnip for one!

Al, Jealously does not become you !

The jealousy card has been played before by 961 owners when they have difficulty countering arguments put forward criticising Garner and his products. I do not envy or resent any owner of a 961. I just prefer to see things as they are, not how I imagine they are. :D

You are seeing things as they were and from your posts as you hope they will continue to be!

Have you ever been around the development of a new product, say the late 90's Triumphs, apparently not.

You are yet another example of someone who thinks brand new designs do not have teething or growing problems.

The issues you sight are from 2 or 3 years ago! The engines now are very different and assembled by a different company, facts you choose to ignore!

As far as I can tell you do not own a 961, Have not ordered a 961, and do not contemplate ordering a 961. Why are you here?????????

Is it to give someone credit for spending millions to try and resurrect the brand, or to look at the latest model objectively!

I think not!

That's the one - taking an objective view point. :D
