Ever heard or seen a Liton?

Found here: http://allumage-electronique.blogspot.com/2018/03/liton-de-lionel-ubertelli.html

Mighty quick steering, and lots of monkey-motion to effect shifting; but, VERY nicely done, front to rear (I'd have just stuck with right-foot-shift)

Strange to see an engine craftet to suit the frame, than the other way around.
While the front end looks the business, the swinging arm arrangement is just weird. Where is lateral stiffness in this spindly arrangement?

Didn’t he used to make belt drives that were a blatant ripoff of Bob Newby’s

I seem to recall him causing a lot of upset around ten years ago?

What's the cylindrical object under the carbs? Is that an electric starter?

Guessing here, but if you google: 'Lionel Ubertelli' there's a few more bikes of this ilk. Assume he was a frame maker and Liton was a corruption of Lionel and Norton... as per: Triton et al

Hi, yes you are right for Liton, he had made a Listar too , and some other , but he is not a frame maker by trade , just a clever tool maker in Aerospace now retired , the Liton you see had a 1007 Maney engine but the crank broke on the track at Nogaro , he 'a buddy of mine ......

I didn’t like it much to be honest... until you said that !

230lbs... wow...

@robs ss looks like he built it into the body work - you can see the cover cut into the seat, and the two hoses coming out by the back wheel.

He also moved from MK1 Concentrics to MK2 Concentrics - I guess when you are a clever engineer, your bike is constantly evolving!

The mufflers and rear shocks are also different.
