Emgo Speedometer for Nortons

My Norton Commando speedometer has broken. I see that Emgo offers a reproduction replacement. For about $85 plus shipping on Ebay I can buy one. I'm not interested in "originality" .Has anyone used one of these and how did it work out? Thanks,Skip

the EMGO speedos all have the correct drive ratio for Norton 15-12 / 1.25-1
but the facia and mounting are different depending on which model you select

The new Smiths electronic guages look to be the way to go now.

Dies anyone have the new Smith Speedo hooked up not using the speedo drive... using the reed-switch sensor?
