Verrrry interesting, as Arte Johnson used to say on Laugh-In. After my time at N-V and now a retiree from Boeing, it would be interesting to have a Commando. At 70 (just a week or so back) I sure could not kick-start one of those monsters, but a good, powerful electric start would make ownership feasible. The original Lucas "electrically assisted start" is for the birds, but, thanks to the matallurgical developments triggered by the Apollo Space Program, modern electric motors are about 10-times stronger than those wimpy thigs from the late 60s.

I don't think DW would go for even an electric start Commando, so I'm just musing.
