Egg throwing.

A motorcyclist from Leicestershire riding with his visor up was hit in the face by an egg thrown from a car, and after emergency surgery lost the sight of one of his eyes. I hope this is not the latest craze from the tin box guys.........

In Essex a few years back there were a few incidents of rocks (think 4 house bricks size) being dropped onto vehicles as they passed under bridges on major roads (50-70+ mph). The Police eventually found a couple of 14 year old teenagers to be responsible because they were bored!
Not just the tin can crazies...
I am always wary when I see people on bridges watching the traffic approach - just another hazard in this crazy world.

Same thing in my town about 10 years ago, some gobshites dropped a rock onto a van from an overhead bridge. It killed the young driver out right.
Police never found the actual culprit, although I suspect they knew who did it but no evidence and all that.....
